Hey loves. Today I’m sharing my hair care routine with you! I’ve switched up my routine a lot since I cut my hair short a few months back. But now I’m really loving the products I’m using and my fine hair really does feel happier, healthier, and stronger than it ever has before!
The Hair Care Routine
My hair is fine, straight and color treated, so it often rejects new products after a very short period of time. After many months, or maybe even years, of searching for the right cocktail of hair care products, I’ve finally found a combination that is yet to let me down! My hair has volume and shine and I’ve seen noticeably reduced breakage and fewer split ends!
The Shampoo & Conditioner
I recently started using Matrix Biolage VolumeBloom for fine hair and I’ve become obsessed. This shampoo and conditioner line uses a gentle, paraben-free, color safe formula inspired by the cotton flower. It gently cleanses hair with minimal stripping and adds lightweight volume and shine. It holds up to its claims and has worked wonders on my hair. One of the best parts is that the conditioner doesn’t weigh down my hair or make it look greasy like so many others do. Props!
I’ve also recently started washing my hair every other day – which has been a major struggle (let’s just say my hair wasn’t loving Dove’s Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo). Plus, I’ve always washed my hair daily, so making the switch was kind of a challenge. My hair is finally getting on board though; I’ve finally stopped wanting to rip out my hair on those “off” days. I think the switch to Batiste Dry Shampoo has really made a difference!
The Conditioning Treatment
Once a week I treat my hair using Marc Anthony’s Nourishing Argan Oil deep hydrating conditioning treatment. I usually shy away from using deep conditioning treatments as they tend to make my hair greasier, but this product is amazing. It claims to revive weak, dry, damaged hair and that is exactly what it does! I really look forward to using this product on the weekends and I love how my hair feels, looks, and smells after using it. I will definitely be repurchasing this one once I run out!
The Leave In Treatment
After washing and conditioning, I apply It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin to the ends of my hair. This really is an amazing product. It helps repair dry, damaged hair, protect from split ends and breakage, add shine, reduce frizz, remove tangles, and protect color. And it smells amazing too! I highly recommend It’s a 10 to anyone looking to add a leave in treatment to their regime.
